Marker Basics
Markers are lightweight instructions that help shape your document. They let you control structure, add metadata, and guide formatting without changing the main content.
What are Markers?
Markers are simple tags you can place in your content to:
- control document structure
- add formatting instructions
- insert dynamic content
- manage page layout
- attach metadata
Using Markers
Add a marker with the @ symbol followed by its name. For example:
@author John Doe
@date 2026-06-24
@pagebreak
Each marker serves a specific role in the document pipeline.
